During the course we try and go to new venues each day increasing your experience of working with prevailing weather , interpreting snow conditions, safe travel techniques and navigation.
Areas used may include Ben Nevis, the Aonachs, Grey Corries, Laggan and Cairngorms area. We try and use a different venue each day - then we get to see different conditions and increase the opportunities to learn.

To join an assessment you need a minimum of 40 QMD's in three areas of the UK. 20 of these days must be in Scotland.
